Despite the flailing economy, the Mountain Village has seen many new condo complexes built over the past couple of years with very few falling flat due to insufficient financing. There is no lack of beautiful, high-end and modern units available for the descretionary buyer.
"Capella Telluride" had its Grand Opening in February of 2009. With a mixture of 100 hotel room condominiums and 48 two to four bedroom condominiums this combination hotel - condominium features plenty of amenities from spa to restaurants to valet services to ice rink and more. Founded by the ex-CEO of Ritz-Carlton, the new, high-end Capella chain has the highest of standards and luxury, and Telluride's version will be no exception. "Villas at Cortina" is still being developed. Financing seems to be holding up and constructions continues. Awe-inspiring views, and all-day shine make this one of the best mountain-side condominium complexes outside of the hustle and bustle of the Mountain Village Core. "Lorian III" is the third and last phase to be built to finish off a familiar condo complex near the Village Core.
